Young Adult Carers Group

Every Wednesday from 6.15pm to 8.15pm.

Provides support for younger people who are providing care and support for a friend, parent, sibling, grandparent, or other family member. The group aims to support everyone informally, by providing an opportunity to meet other young adults who care for someone.

Young people can take part in activities, share experiences get helpful information, including signposting to other services… or just relax and have a break from their busy lives.

The group can also help young people to take their step to accessing carer support for adults. Young people do not have to have been involved with Portsmouth Young Carers Service previously to take part.
