Our friendly team work together in their different roles to provide the best possible service to carers in Portsmouth. Here you can meet the team – a brief introduction to the different roles that make up our service.
Carers Centre Administrators
Our Carers Centre Administrators are here to take referrals, assist you with your enquiry and direct you to the appropriate staff member. They act as the first point of contact for Portsmouth Carers Service and assist in helping groups and events run smoothly.
Independence Support Assistants
Our Independence Support Assistants (ISA’s) carry out the majority of our carers assessments and become keyworkers for carers who require ongoing support. ISA’s have a wealth of valuable information and experience with all aspects of the caring role.
Our Development Officers lead on projects to help develop carers services in Portsmouth. You will often see them out at events promoting our service and working with partnered organisations.
Our Project Officers work closely with our Development Officers supporting with communications, outreach projects and community engagement.
