My Life Alongside Caring

It may feel like caring takes up most/all of your time, but it is important to remember that you are entitled to a life alongside caring. Having dreams and ambitions is not being selfish, it is helpful to be able to look forward positively and to feel like you’re making progress (even if it’s very slow baby steps). If your life has fallen down the list of priorities and you’ve lost your sense of self, a carers assessment will help you take time to consider these areas now, the changes you would like to make and how to get there.
